Looking for other Catholic Homeschooling families?

Chances are that if you are on this page, God has called you in some way to homeschool as a Catholic in the beautiful state of Oregon.  God bless you for following His lead!

One of the challenging parts of homeschooling is forming a community for your child(ren) outside of your family unit.  Knowing that the friendships formed from these small Catholic communities benefit parents and children alike, the goal of Oregon Catholic Homeschoolers is to help you find these families within a reasonable distance from you.

Technology can be a burden in many ways, but we plan to use it to connect Catholic homeschooling families in local areas -- the blessing technology was intended to be.  After much discernment, we have decided to utilize the social network called MeWe, where you will need to get a free account.  It is available on mobile apps as well as on the internet browser. MeWe is known for no ads, no targeting, and no newsfeed manipulation where members own their own data.  You can read more about them on this MeWe link.

Once you are in MeWe, you can join any one of the localized groups under "Oregon Catholic Homeschoolers".  Links are also available under the "Local Groups" tab above.

As this is a new endeavor, we ask for your patience as we grow the the number of families within each localized group.  Please spread the word!  And if there are areas that are not covered, please let us know the locale to be targeted which should not be too big, but not too small either.
